功 利 主 義 セ ミ ナ ー

　JSUS（日本功利主義学会）などに併せて来日する，Dr.Paul Kelly と Professor Douglas Long のセミナーが，以下のように開催されます。一括してご案内申し上げ ます。

　Dr. Paul Kelly は現在，London School of Economics and Political Science, Department of Government の Lecturer です。著書に Utilitarianism and Distributive Justice: Jeremy Bentham and the Civil Law, Clarendon Press Oxford, 1990があり，最近，共編著が翻訳されています（D. バウチャー，P. ケリー編 ，飯島昇蔵・佐藤正志他訳，『社会契約論の系譜――ホッブズからロールズまで――』，ナカニシヤ出版）。

　また，Professor Doglas Long (Department of Political Science, University of Western Ontario, Canada)は，Bentham on Liberty: Jeremy Bentham's idea of liberty in relation to his utilitarianism, University of Toronto Press, 1977 の著者です。
